I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 and like the title says, my harddrives aren't detected. My harddrives are SATA, and one is a WD Cavier 160gb and the other is a Seagate 160 gb. In the past, my harddrives haven't been detected on iAtkos and other dists. However, when I borrowed an old 40gb IDE from a friend, it was detected on iAtkos. I'd just like to know if my harddrives aren't compatible and if there is some other way to install Leopard (like installing on a usb/external and copying over to one of my HDs). Thanks for your time. :)

As for the detecton errors.. Can't help you there. But with installing to an external HDD, I think you should search the forum for things like "Flat Image installation" If the Ext HD is formated in HFS+ then you should be able to do a fresh install to it. If you can get it booting to the ext drive, then you could copy it across with a program like Carbon Copy Cloner

(freeware) or something like that...

Good luck!
