Hi all!

Today it's the third time i try to install iDeneb 10.5.5.

I've got 1 500gb hd with 150gb for XP and 300gb free space.

The problem wich didn't allow me to install Leopard was that in the installation process the mac diskutility didn't recoginze any hardisk in my pc.

After many attempts i tried to switch my hardisk from IDE to AHCI mode.

With this method i've been able to see my hd from the diskutility so i created a 50gb partition than i formatted it with Mac Journaled.

I installed Leopard without errors.

Thus i tried to restart my pc, but it seems that with the new AHCI mode it can't work!!!

When darwin ask me what OS i want to use and I select for example XP, the system begin to reboot itself endlessly...

Now i switched back to IDE mode and XP seems to work, but Leopard continue to reboot itself!

How can i solve this??! :(

Thanks!!!

You need to install AHCI driver in XP......see here.......

thx for the answer!

it seems that the driver "79im05ww.exe" (linked on the site you told me) isn't available on the net... i can't find it!

may be the solution is to reinstall XP and Leopard after setting the hardisk in AHCI mode first?

ok, a little update on my problems..

i've installed the ACHI controller for XP as shown here:

This error indicates that you have a ACPI - APIC issue, so need to choose an ACPI - APIC fix option in the Customize menu of your OS X install DVD......or try this kext.....
