Hi, I've got an Asus G2SG (details in the signature). I try to install iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3. I'm not able to boot the install DVD normally. I've to use Safemode (-x). When the installation has finished, the system does not boot and stops at: MAC framework successfully initialized using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster I0 buffer headers What can I do to fix this issue?

Hi, I've been abroad for a few months and the OSx86 development is running so fast. I lost the sight of all running projects. So I'd be happy if someone could recommend me which project (iDeneb, iAtkOS, etc.) is the best for my PC. My computer specifications are listed below. Before I went away, I've been using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 It worked but it caused me some troubles. Sound was not working, wireless too (this is not a real problem because I've got an WLAN USB-Stick to fix this problem). And the worst: The performance of my system was really, really bad. I'm not sure if it was caused by disabling one cpu core (required for a proper boot) and it felt even slower than Vista Answers are really appreciated! Thank you very much.

If I install the ACPI fix, my system restarts endlessly. Does the kext fix it in another way?

Tried it out. Setup is working fine. But I'm not able to launch Mac OS X. The computer just reboots after one or two seconds. I tried again using safemode (and verbose mode of course) but it's restarting too. Someone's got a tip for me?

Also, habe jetzt TransMac empfohlen bekommen. Habe es auch schon versucht, jedoch sind bei iATKOS die Ordner anders aufgebaut als bei Kalyway. Denn z.B. kann ich System/Library/Extensions nicht finden. Hat da jemand ein Tipp wie ich das Lösen kann (Hierauf basierend: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=88335)?

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit diese kexts unter Windows meiner BootDVD hinzuzufügen (in diesem Falle iATOS_4i).

No, I can't set the WDC HDD as Slave. And no SATA options show in this fu*** BIOS.

Thank you for reply. Yes, I have the latest BIOS. Just forgot to update my signature. There's no option in BIOS to change the controller options. It's a really limited BIOS. I can create some screenshots for you if you want to have an closer look. Maybe I've got tomatoes on my eyes. ^^ Yes. It's Windows Vista. The OS has been preinstalled, but I crashed it and used the recovery function. So I think it's the same.

I have the same problem. The worst problem is: In my BIOS is no option to change the SATA Mode to AHCI (But in Windows, the controller has AHCI in the name ) Will there be any version in near future which doesn't need to change to AHCI?
