bigboss
there is a place for this friend, the HCL by the way, does your XPS have a soundmax integrated card? if it does, make sure the device/manufacturer ids are the same. The soundmax kext is located in AppleAC97Audio.kext/Plugins. after your ids match, reboot the system and try plugging the sound into the black (microphone slot), that should get it working. about the ati graphics, you can either wait till omni releases his driver with a working frame buffer (he's almost done) or if you have vesa 3.0 compatibility mode (check at the darwin bootloader), you can edit com.apple.Boot.plist located in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and add the lines: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32</string> (after <dict> and also, dont forget to make an indentation) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15038-dell-xps-400/#findComment-96554 Share on other sites
