shruff Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Please help, I have iPC 10.5.6 (Voodoo final) almost perfect but no sound output of Digital Coaxial. I have tried many .Kexts and nothing works. Asus p5e vm hdmi 9600 GT 512MB Core2Quad Q9400 @ 2.66GHz If anyone has a solution an explanation in lament terms would be fantastic, thanks in advance. I installed many drivers but none of them worked. Could sombody help?? They work for me partially (but i have a different board ECS NF650iSLiT). The problem i am having is that after some time of using the audio (listening to music) the sound stops working, it starts to crackle, sizzle and pop and just freezes my box until i can quit itunes. I have not found a solution for this yet. If you have not tried those kext yet give them a go and see if they work for you, good luck. I have the same motherboard and working sound trought SPDIF, i'm using XxX 10.5.6 I have the driver if you want it just say so By the way, i'm thinking on upgrading my graphic card and i realize that you have a 9600GT how do you installed it (EFI?) and what brand / model please.
