elite1967
Hi all, I am almost there: Sony Vaio VGN-TX2 Centrino 1.2GHz (SSE2) 1GB RAM iDeneb 10.5.5 with options: Kernel: SLEEP ICHFixed SMBIOS 667 Firewire Remove Working: Video Intel 915GM / GMA900: OK without paperclip trick (resolution: 1366x768) QI/QE working Internal Network Intel Pro 100/VM: OK Trackpad ALPS: OK Battery Indicator: OK Not Working: Wireless Intel 2200bg: NO Audio ALC260: NO Sleep: NO Boot on battery: NO Now, can anybody help me? 1. I need to be able to boot on battery. (otherwise a laptop is useless :-)) What happens is that when on battery it boots but then freezes on a blue screen just before the login dialog box. If I set the automatic login, it eventually logs in (after few minutes) but it becomes unresponsive. What can I do install to fix it? 2. I would like to have the sleep function working. When I select "Sleep" from the Apple menu, I get a black screen, but the laptop is still on (fan, leds, hd, etc.). And there is no way to get the screen back. 3. Finally: the audio card. I haven't been able to enable it with Taruga Patch. Any other methods? Thanks a lot. Hi sharkyseb, thank you for your reply on this old thread. Actually I am on iDeneb 10.5.8, but still have the same problems as above: 1. audio 2. sleep 3. wifi card 4. video card for 1366x768 resolution 5. boot on battery (gives me kernel panic just one second after the boot on module rtclock_init) Can you give me the details of the .kext for installing such elements. Thanks a lot. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/150334-problem-almost-there-sony-vaio-tx2/#findComment-1337871 Share on other sites
