spclffred Posted April 15, 2006 Share Posted April 15, 2006 Ok a couple weeks ago i gave on the whole osx 10.4.3/4/5 installations cause they would actually start the install and stop right at automator, but the problem didnt start there it stopped there, during the installation of the fonts while looking at the error logs, it says bom file error for installation of some fonts, then when automator starts it just freezes. System Specs MOBO-ASUS A8N SLI PREMIUM (LATEST BIOS UPDATE) CPU-AMD X2 4400 UN OVERCLOCKED RAM-2GB CORSAIR XMS VIDEOCARDS-2 7800GTX SLI HARDDRIVES-2 10K RPM RAPTORS, 1 SEAGATE IDE 80GIG(THE ONE I WANT TO RUN OSX ON) Now ive tryed taking out the sata drive so see if they are conflicting with the install ive tryed two different dvd drives for the install, 3 diff patched iso's, and i still get the same problem, ive seen ppl in these forums with almost the same setup and have osx86 10.4.3/4/5 installed. Now ive posted this automator problem twice before and no help, if someone can please explain to me what im doin wrong please do, is theyre a special command i have to type in, in darwin before i goto install. When i go thru the installation process if done every thing from orginal formatations to low level.
