Hey there, I'm new here to the forum but have been reading here for quite some time. I have been using my dual-booted XP/OS X 10.5.4 with iATKOS v4i on Intel q6600 Quad CPU, Intel BadAxe 2, 3 GB RAM, 180 GB SATA HDD.... for about 6 months with no problem whatsoever. That is until I made the dreadful error of not noticing the software update had been turned on and I immediately got a kernel panic and had to manually shutdown. It tried to update the OS to 10.5.5 as well as some programs like logic 8.2 final cut pro, etc.... Big mistake i made. At this point, that is all that is happening! My XP side works fine but the Mac OS is only in kernel panic screen. I can't access the -v safe mode...in fact i can't access any modifiers. I have tried several methods on here with booting iAtkos and going to terminal to retrieve the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext file and have had no luck in this process. It is the darwin 9.4 kernel i'm using. Everything had been fine and it would've been had i not messed up. I would be extremely greatful if I received a reply....and if you live in Vancouver BC like I do...I would be willing to pay a healthy sum to anyone willing to come fix the problem on site!!! Thanks!

You might be able to boot back into it with a Boot132 disk..

My goal here would be to re-access the os without losing any of the work on there. Forgive me if I am misinformed, but wouldn't I be forced to repartition thus erase my drive with a boot 132? But i do not know much about the boot 132 process and I would be greatful for any information shared
