yes, you can. Using Leopard installation helper is a good way. You can download and learn how to use it in Genius bar in this forum. To avoid losing any data, you can compress a big volume(with a lot of free space available) in a tool called disk management in Vista and create a new volume on the unallocated area generated from previous space. Kalyway iso could then be copied to the new partition using installation helper. Remember to mark the Kalyway partition active to allow the system boot from that partition.

Im also wanting to do this with an Dell Inspiron 6000 that has a dead dvd drive.

If anyone has any extra tips, id appreciate it.

Im a little burnt out on the whole trial and error for 72hours thing...

Looking into reading more before i do any more fun .. but forever taking.. stuff .

thanks.

yargh. ive searched. and searched. im still unable to find any thing that really gives me solid awnsers as far as how to install Kalyway without a dvd. I really have no extra DVD drives, I have multiple usb sticks and external hard drives.

but im serious, every method or guide starts to spin out of control on me.

i've installed OSX on multiple computers, but right now im stuck trying

with an Dell Inspiron 6000 and an HP DV7-1135nr.

Im still semi-new with this, i take long breaks on the projects. but, im well rounded with computers.

I have no Mac computer to use [eh, kinda] but id really appreciate anything extra to help this out.

any tips.. anyone..
