dycaroidx
I've run into an issue with 10.5.6 that I have yet to discover the answer to (it might not even be a problem with the OS). System profiler says I have 512MB of VRAM but upon attempting the install of Logic Studio, which requires more than 0MB and a quartz extreme capacity, its says I have 0 VRAM. I've searched the forum and discovered people saying things about VRAM mismatches and a single inquiry about this problem but without much following. If anyone could help, thanks a bunch. vectorskink
Same here with Final Cut. 7900GTX 512MB on ideneb 10.5.6 Is there a way in one of the kexts or something to force it to recognise VRAM? Like "VRAM=512" somewhere? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149615-0-vram-detection-from-applications/#findComment-1086255 Share on other sites

Usher
hi folks, there's only one reason cause this problem, that is Mac system does not recognize your video card. Try so search around on this forum to make it works. There's a easy way to know if Mac system recognized your video card is that your task bar should be transparent. Hope it leads you a way to escape. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149615-0-vram-detection-from-applications/#findComment-1404999 Share on other sites
