.ShadowFox
I have a less than 3-month-old aluminum Macbook. I installed Windows XP for the games, and it told me setup was completed successfully. I installed the bootcamp drivers via my Mac OS X CD all my games, and Skype. I then tried going into "My Computer" to see if my iSight wass detected properly, I clicked on the camera icon and I got an error that said "Windows cannot access your camera at this time", which flashed on the screen, then I got a BSOD. Saying "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149570-problem-with-the-isight-driver-for-windows-xp/ Share on other sites

jfzio
From experience the isight is not going to be listed as it is but rather a generic camera or web-cam. I'm using a duo core Intel and run XP3 via Boot Camp. I use MSN by preference. The isight cannot be controlled so what I get is a very close picture. Instead I have an old creative cam that I use in place. Messenger then gives me an option to use either. Trust me, this is an issue not being addressed by Microsoft, Apple nor third parties. I've searched numerous post and you'll find the same, unfortunately. Good luck.
