Wouldn't it be nice if we could invent a super fantastic Mac Port of NDISwrapper?

Imagine: Just Drag and Drop you Windows driver to get crystal clear audio, decent resolutions, functional Built-in card readers, and better, faster networking, dongle-free?

(*deep, contented sigh of harmonious happiness*)

Now, I am by NO means any sort of programmer and the only thing I know about Terminal is that there are 8 in Halo 3. So I cannot say "I'll help!"; this is merely a shout out and possibly (hopefully) the seed for a (very very near??) future of OSx86 harmony

Thanks

wouldnt this be lovely ......

-,-i have an atheros usb wireless that i cant get to work..otherwise id be on mac right now instead of windows....

ndiswrapper is only for wireless network devices, not video cards and audio and whatnot. It is also only properly supported on linux. It has been ported (lacking some functionality) to freebsd and netbsd, so I think it would be possible to port it to osx, but it would be a lot of work, so I doubt it will happen.

And if you do a search up the top there, you'll find plenty of threads about it.
