Amol
Guys, I installed Mac OS X 10.4.5 on my notebook, an Acer Asprire 5672WLMi. I have an ATi Radeon X1400 GPU and my soundcard is Realtek. Where can I get the drivers? Also my ethernet/Wireless LAN isn't working, and I believe I have a Broadcom Ethernet Controller. Where do you think I can get it? And what is a kext file, how do I edit it to get this working(if possible?). Any and all help will be greatly appreciated since I'm a n00b when it comes to Mac. Thanks in advance, Amol. powrslave
research each component one by one...until you come to an answer. Will it work? yes or no...then work on getting each device to work one at a time. editing kext files... there's a lot of howtos in the wiki and it's all the same...for each one... Look at the working components list for starters-- (it's not complete) but you'll learn about getting things to work by following the howto links.
