huong23 Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 I have a Dell Inspiron 8600 with OSX 10.4.5 and power management doesn't work. For example, closing the lid still leaves the LCD display on or that the LCD display does not turn off after the time specified in the Energy Saver panel. Since I'm using a NVIDIA GeforceFX 5200 Go, which is not the supported GMA 950 in OSX, could it be causing my LCD to not turn off? For those with laptops (Intel GMA or dedicated graphic), were you guys able to get the LCD to turn off for energy saving? Thanks.
