Eds89
hi, i didn really think this was the best place to post this but i couldnt find a suitable subforum. in a nutshell i was installing osc on an external usb hard drive, of which i have 3, and they are all samsung HDDs. being half aleep at the time i just picked the first samsung one i could see and did not bother to check the model. therefore i have partitioned and formatted a 1TB hard drive which contained my OSX iso's and some pc backups i have tried a couple of data recovery programs, but they do not seem to restore the ISOs themseleves, only the files inside the ISOs, and most of them are corrupt anyway due to compression. so simply put, i would like a data recovery program that can read from an HFS partition on a GUID partition table, and restore files as if they were on an NTFS partition. I dont know if it would be better to delete the HFS partition and then re run the recvoery program, see if that helps?? thanks for any help id really appreciate it Eds Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149043-help-with-data-recovery-please/ Share on other sites
