Icelus
I have two disks at home. One of them is my "main Windows drive" and the other one is for tests and to play around. Before installing OS X (iATKOS, and in my drive for tests) I unplugged my main drive as a caution measure. OS X installed flawlessly. Everything was working, except for sound. Then I re-replugged my main drive, restarted OS X, and ethernet stop functioning. At first I thought it was some other thing, but then I disconnected the drive and guess what? ethernet worked again. Somebody knows if there's a reason for this? Is there a way fix it? Thanks in advance. delirumhappy
I had a similar problem... Try setting your OSX drive as the first one in HDD order, and your Windows drive after it. (OSX before Windows in HDD order) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148735-help-i-lose-ethernet-when-plugging-another-hard-drive/#findComment-1055687 Share on other sites

Icelus
And you know what's even more weird and mind-boggling, ForestGuardian? That deliriumhappy was right. Changing the HDD order does fix the problem. Go figure. Thanks!
