Dear All,

been playing Half life 2 episode ONE and even the games often stop working and excited to leopard especially during loading save game I got though!

On Half Life 2 episode TWO the graphic is wrong and especially on reflections of water it goes completely wrong, like unplayable! Furthermore it seems I cannot change setting, and even I manually go into the config file, I cannot see any difference!

So is this just couse to Cider, or, is there something I could do?

I am on Hackingtoxsh leopard 10.5.4, NVIDA 8600GT, 2 gb ram, Q2,44gh!

Anyone got an idea for helping me out?

Best Regards,

KBN

I tried Counter Strike Source and works like a charm except for inesperate Visual C++ Rutime Error... I don't know how to solve this.. u.U

HL1 speech problems as if someone played the sound while fast forwarding

HL2 Perfect

HL2e1 Perfect

HL2e2 No mouse (Ghost Mouse, guess where the mouse is game)

No saved settings (After changing the settings and video settings which also makes the mouse appear, then doing a restart)

Some Graphical Bugs

Framerates are down the drain

With the HL2 versions I replaced all the english with german speech and used steam to change them to german text. On the windows site I used the cider verion of HL and play them under windows and its all in german, but on the mac its all in english with german speech. The question is, how do u change the text to german?

Episode two is giving me huge problems. It will load to the main menu, but because of previously saved video preferences, the screen flickers terribly, along with each separate texture and model in the background. I also have the same ghost mouse problem. I can use the arrow keys to manage menus, but I can't select the video pref's to default them.

Here's the weird part. I have reinstalled it from a zipped archive twice (all three installed were new decompressions of the original, which was fine until I tweaked the settings.) So there's a preference/config file cached elsewhere on my drive that I can't find. I have developer tools, but Instruments won't read file activity since it's run under cider. Any idea where he external video preferences file is located?
