chip22
My Leopard (iAtkos 5i) system worked perfectly for 3 weeks, but today when i try to start computer i see next error : /com.apple.boot/S/Library/Preference/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist not found. What happens? Then I boot with bootloader 132 and i could start Leopard, but without bootloader 132 i receive the same message with /com.apple.boot.plist not found. I looked in Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and i found file com.apple.boot.plist . This is the file content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>custom</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-f</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>No</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> </dict> </plist> What is the solution to boot without bootloader 132? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148180-comapplebootplist-not-found/ Share on other sites
emotional friend
My Leopard (iAtkos 5i) system worked perfectly for 3 weeks, but today when i try to start computer i see next error : /com.apple.boot/S/Library/Preference/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist not found. What happens? Does it boot with the -x argument? Also, are you booting from a complete power-down or a warm boot? Try pulling the plug and then start it up. I'm noticing some frustrating hard drive sleep issues that persist across reboots. westwaerts
-f is an old boot argument -x is the newer version you should not have it permanently in your bootplist.kext ( this causes your computer every startup to check and load fresh all drivers=extensions=kexts) normally the kexts are packed into extensions.mkext and only this one is loaded at startup. boot with -x if it doesnt help boot with -x -v and tell where it stucked Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148180-comapplebootplist-not-found/#findComment-1050259 Share on other sites
Panasa
I have found that there are 2 "Library" folders. I think that the one that you are trying to access is under (HD Name). ~Panasa Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148180-comapplebootplist-not-found/#findComment-1050896 Share on other sites

Library 2. System > Library 3. User > Library there are 3 of them ( and correctly spelled like above) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148180-comapplebootplist-not-found/#findComment-1051460 Share on other sites
