One of my professors is letting me borrow Final Cut Studio 2 for a couple of my projects, so keep that in mind and suggest improvements if you feel it will help me run that app better.

Also, I will be running Vista64 on this setup and am hoping to make this a setup that will last a few years as I am going through a "tight" stage financially.

ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 1GB 256-bit

3 x Western Digital Caviar GP WD5000AACS 500GB 5400 to 7200 RPM (1 for OSX, 1 for Vista64, 1 for scratch video)

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black IDE

OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Power Supply

What do you guys think?

Only thing I'm not too sure about is the video card. I REALLY wanted to go with the GTX260 but I know it's not supported at this time and I have a project I was planning on working on with this rig before Snow Leopard comes out.

I don't want to hear about how I should get a real Mac either... no Mac will run decently on the budget I currently have (less than 1500)...

The 9800GTX+ should run Final Cut Pro just fine right?
