beagio
well some more info would help, but i'm guessing you used a patched AppleSMBIOS.kext and a patched AppleHDA.kext in you System/Library/Extensions folder? if so, you need to re-install the patched versions, as the 10.5.6 update would have installed new vanilla (un-patched) versions. beagio
did you originally install using Kalyway 10.5.2? if so, you can put the disc in the drive, and once it's loaded search for the packages that you need to fix your sound etc. just re-install the ones you installed the first time round Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148048-system-profiler-dont-work/#findComment-1049486 Share on other sites
DarkFlagster
I have installed P45 Sound package, but now doesn't work... Already back to install and nothing ... =( I think it is because of System Profiler stopped working Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148048-system-profiler-dont-work/#findComment-1049505 Share on other sites
beagio
having an un-patched AppleSMBIOS shouldn't affect your audio, never has for me, but if you want to correct System Profiler, you need to install the SMBIOS option you chose first time round. DarkFlagster
It's disable... After installing the Adobe Master Colection (CS4). My Mac stopped working well. It was super slow, and could not access the internet ... I was forced to format the HD. It is even possible to put this to work well? beagio
i don't think you really know what you're doing, no offence. why not try reading some of the guides in the Genius section so you can fully understand how Mac OS X works on non-Apple hardware. i've lost track of how many times i've installed Leopard when trying new techniques. an external hard drive is a handy thing Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148048-system-profiler-dont-work/#findComment-1055101 Share on other sites
