pcmerc
Any know how to get dual monitor support expanding the desktop on an ATI9800PRO with 10.4.6 hacked? The secondary ports works but just mirrors the initial one. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14790-dual-monitor-support/ Share on other sites
Bearcat
In Preferences, Display, do you have the Arrangement tab? If you do, you should be able to turn mirror off, in that tab. Not sure if this works on Intel, but that's the way I do it on a PPC Mac. CrazyPigeon
Not to be rude or anything, but does anyone read the rules!?! 2. This is not the forum for asking questions. If you have a question about a thread that's already here, feel free to ask it. Just don't start a thread for a specific question. Use the other forums here for that. I also think if you post in the other catagories you would get more repsponses since that is where it is suppose to be. Also, the answer to your question is no, if your not able to change the resolution within the display preferences you can't enable dual monitors. I have a dual head card as well and mirroring works fine, its just the lack of a good driver that is keeping you and me from dual monitors, but expose makes single monitor living a lot more livable.
