TallTania
Hi guys, I would like to build my next computer and install OSX using Boot-32. If I read correctly to install OSX using boot-32 I need a pretty apple-standard PC. So what componets should I chose for a very basic system? Correct me if I am wrong in the following assumptions: 1) I need a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2) a motherboard with and intel chipset (any specific?) 3) and a nvidia video card (like 9600) Any suggestion/examples would be greatly appreciated. majorcrabs
What I have noticed is that all the macs at my school run on xeon processors and ATI 2600 XTs those both would be very mac friendly but someone should correct me because i'm still very new to the scene also shouldn't this be in the buying thoughts section? m82a1
cpu - osx does support quad cores but its ur choice motherboard - intel p35 chipset, especially the ep-35 ds3l or the ds3r, u can also try out the p45 chipset. video card - any nvidia 8800 is pretty much supported, if i was u, i'd read more about the right video card to get.
