Hello everybody!

First I have to say a very big thank you to everybody who is involved in making the whole OSX86-thing possible - that's what I was thinking of a long time, just untill I trapped into an article, and now I'm here, uber happy about having the gorgeous Leopard (from which I'll get a license soon) (nearly) running on my PC. A donation is for sure.

My OSX86 version: Kalyway_10.5.2.DVD.Intel.Amd.PC7.BY.TALA

I followed this (great) tutorial.

My PC:

> Mainboard : Asus A8N-SLI SE

> Chipset : nVidia nForce4

> Prozessor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ @ 2200 MHz

> Memory : 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR 400 )

> Grafikkarte : Radeon X1900 Series (X1900XT 512MB)

> HDD : SEAGATE ST320020A 80 GB (IDE)

> DVD-Rom Laufwerk : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H42N (IDE)

> Monitortyp : BenQ BenQ FP93GX - 19 inchs

The issue:

If I boot in normal mode (without any start options) I boot up to the desktop successfully, but there are graphic bugs, including shattered animation using spaces, tiled icons and green horizontal stripes all over the screen. AND after round about 40-60 seconds, the whole screen freezes, I just can move the mouse. I can't do anything else than rebooting.

If I boot in safe mode, the system runs, there are no GUI bugs. Yesterday it ran for 8 hours. Even sleepmode runs perfectly (damn how fast is this?). But it's safemode ...

I know that I have to reinstall the system again (will be the 14th), but I don't have the skills to find out the solution by myself, so it might be helpfull if I knew what to do exactly. I think it's a driver issue, but which drivers could run stable? Anyone with same experiences?

I would be glad about some helpfull answers. All in all I used the OSX this Friday for the first time of my life, and all I can say is that those guys from Apple really know their matter. This system brings computing to the next level for me!
