megavolkan
I installed 10.4.5 on my 3.0 ghz p4 HT machine in "About This Mac" it seems 3.6GHZ!!!!! with NO SSE3!!!! how could i fix it? My processor is SSE3 supported i'm sure and is it normal that on applications info boxes (option+0) it still shows 'Open Using Rosetta' option? MacApprentice
Even if doesn't show, SSE3 is used, it's just a cosmetic issue when installing the SSE3 emulator on a SSE3 system. SSE3 is not emulated on such a system and there's no performance loss. You should have searched the forum, this has been discused on and on... For the Rosetta option it's normal for universal binary cause you can choose to run the ppc part with it I think.
