soccerdude21490
Hey guys do programs like AIM require SSE3, because I have an SSE2 compatible processor, and like IChat runs fine, but then AIM once I type like 1 letter I get that stupid spinny wheel Also I have a 3.0GHz Pentium 4 processor, but Mac displays it has a 3.6GHz which I dont' think is a problem But anyways, are there certain programs that will NOT run on a SSE2 patched version because certain things need SSE3? My one friend thinks its because of rosetta and wahtn ot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14731-alright-1045-sucessfully-installed-with-proper-patches-things-like-aim-still-run-slow/ Share on other sites
darkscout
I would bet that AIM isn't Intel yet. Probably an issue with rosetta. That being said, AIM sucks. Hardcore.
