xoroi
Hi all! I have just installed Kalyway 10.5.2 and almost everything works fine except for the wifi card. It's a d-link DWL-G510. I found several kexts (drivers) but I don't know if I am doing it right. After copying the kext to the folder /System/Library/Extensions and changing the permissions, I reboot. But how do I know if these drivers get loaded? Do I have to delete the previous kext? (in this case it's io80211family.kext) Thank you for your advice! badsubby
Well you can use the kexthelper. Google it and its very easy to install. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147274-how-to-add-a-kext/#findComment-1043400 Share on other sites
xoroi
Thank you. I'm already using kexthelper. But I still don't know if I have to delete previous drivers. chuckcalo
You don't have to remove the old drivers AFAIK as the new ones are being overwritten. You can also try OSX86Tools.
