The Basilisk
I was wandering what version of OSx (e.g. 10.4.1, 10.4.3, etc.) would be best for my sysytem? You guys have to excuse my ignorance but I really don't know what specs I should be posting for my computer. I have and AMD athlon 64 3500+ (venice core and SSE3 supported) processor and 1GB RAM. I don't know what this is but I also have an ATI Radeon xpress 200 chipset. I also have a DVD rom and DVD burner. If you guys need any other specs. just ask. The reason why I'm asking is b/c all the instalation files are so large and with my (slow) internet connection, I don't want to be dissapointed at the end by finding out that I downloaded the wrong file. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll start downloading the 10.4.6 DVD patch by JAS file. I have an SATA hard drive and heard that they aren't supported, is this true? EDIT: would it be alright if I used Mac OS X 10.4.4/5 osx86 Patched Bootable DVD?
