[idkfa]
Hi, I'm trying to get my Hackintosh identified as a MacPro3,1. I'm currently running pc_efi v9 with SMBIOSResolver 1.0.7, but I've tried also AppleSMBIOSEFI. My problem is the following: Whatever I try, "model identification" in System Profiler always only shows "EP45-DS3", but I want it to read MacPro3,1. After loading the SMBIOSResolver.kext, I can see how it changes my serial number and bootrom version, but not the identification. What am I doing wrong? Please help me! OSX 10.5.6 9g55 Gigabyte EP45-DS3 Core 2 Duo E6420 pc_efi v9 (also tried chameleon 1.0.12) Regards, [idkfa] Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146860-hackintosh-to-appear-as-mac-pro/ Share on other sites
