I've installed Kalway osx86 and have with xp allready installed. Bute I made the mistake that I installes the oxs into a extended parition (xp is a primary) so I'm forced to boot into xp bootloader and then chose osx, go into darwin bootloader and choose the again the osx.

Is there a way to convert the extended partition with osx into a primary without reinstalling it?

My harddiskconfig:

80 GB Winx XP (Primary) NTFS (Boot, Active)

100 GB OsX86 (in Extended Partition) HFS+

220 GB Data Partiton(also in the same Extended Partitoon) NTFS

Any suggestions? I would like to have a system which boots into osx by default and into xp by option!

I would take a workaround and make Darwin boot in silencemode, so after you selected OSX in XPbootloader it would boot OSX off Darwin but without you having to do anything...

Don't know much about XPbootloader, but it should be able to make OSX boot first there, not?

OK I think I nearly get it. I edit the com.apple.boot.plist. my osx partition is drive 0 partiton 5. So I added this:

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>rd=disk0s5</string>

<key>Quiet Boot</key>

<string>Yes</string>

But this ends into a infinite loop booting nothing. Any suggestions??
