olisun
Hi, I have managed to get most of the distros installed successfully on my HP NX7400 And Acer Travelmate 5720 Laptop but I am having difficulties trying to get the various PCIMCIA cards working. My Acer Laptop has got the Intel 3945 (I think) wireless adaptor and I know currently there is no solution to get it working. I have got 3 PCMCIA cards Dlink DWA-645 rev A2G DWL-G650MEU rev B1 Netgear WN511B Both the D-Links I believe have got Atheros Chipset and Netgear one has got Broadcom chipset (device id 4329). I have tried all possible options to get the Netgear card recognised but it has been a failure till now. Any help with be highly appreciated. ps: I am a total noob when it comes to OSX. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146589-need-some-help-with-pcmcia-cards/ Share on other sites

olisun
Thank you very much... The card is recognised now and I can see the light bliking but it doesn't allow me to connect to the wireless network.. Need to dig a bit further.... EDIT: Managed to get the Netgear Adapter working but it doesn't start up automatically after every restart... The DWA-645 also blinks but it is not recognised as an interface...
