max_raid
howdy folks - I just threw a second hard drive into a pc which is already running OSX from weaksauce's 10.5.4 leopard soup guide. Is there a way I can install Vista or XP on the second drive without ruining my existing OSX installation? thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146577-two-drives-leopard-already-installed-now-vista/ Share on other sites

max_raid
Thanks for the reply. Is there any easier way to do this, like with a bootloader? Basically, you're saying that I'll have to change the boot drive in the bios every time I want to switch OSes? Sure you can do what is called chainloading from the windows boot loader to go to the second drive containing the OS X I have never set it up this way so can't tell you how to do it, anyways a lot BIOS's have the other option I mention hit key when booting to select the device to boot from so I would check yours for that its probably there.
