10.4 AND 10.5 compatible?

i currently have a G4 Digital Audio with 10.4 installed and am looking to build a hackintosh

 

im specifically looking at these parts for my hackintosh:

 

Proccesor:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 2.7GHz Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition Processor

 

Graphics Card:

XFX PVT98GYDLH GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

 

would these parts work in a hackintosh that is temporarily running 10.4 and later 10.5?

 

I also need help choosing a motherboard- I know it needs to be PCI-Express, but other than that i dont know what to look for

 

I'm hoping the entire project comes out to less than $800

Hi, check the HCL here (link) for the right motherboard

 

your vga is supported, processor is also supported by patche installations... Vanilla (original) mac os x only runs in intel core xx cpus

I think you will maybe struggle a bit to get it working with 10.4, rather just install 10.5 for compatibility reasons.
