UnaClocker
Asus (Asrock is asus) motherboard issue. Sucks to be you. I had that same board almost a year ago. I had the same issue. I sold it and got a new motherboard. Problem solved. UnaClocker
Patched BIOS.. http://osrom.net/biosmod/ I see they have one there for your specific board. Should do the trick. Would have been handy back when I had my board, but I'm happier with the overclock I got on my new board.. Beerkex'd
Telling someone named "newbii" to patch their BIOS? Use fassl's DSDTPatcher and Mackerintel's Chameleon Bootloader with DSDT override support. UnaClocker
With the files at that URL, he wouldn't have to patch it, just flash the already patched BIOS onto his board.. Beerkex'd
I'm not good at the 'tell me more about this' bit. That's what the link is for. Follow that link and get informed. Hackintosh is 75% reading and 25% computing. Or something. UnaClocker
My suggestion was butt simple. Flash your bios, never look back. Beats having to research how to patch a DSDT file. You'll be able to just run a standard DSDT file when the bios is fixed.
