cartman_go
is there any way to part the dvd image into smaller amounts to make it possible to use cd rs instead of dvds for an install? RipJaw
Since all macs ship with a DVD player I doubt the installer would read from several cds instead of 1 DVD. If people maybe incorporate a script or something into the installer maybe it'll be possible. poispois
I sincerely don't see that coming. Even with people trying to implement scripts into the installer. bluedragon1971
It MIGHT be possible, if you copied the layout of the 10.4 CD set, which is 4 discs. It would be quite a bit of work, for very little benefit. DVD burners are so cheap now that it's pretty pointless to bother with it anymore.
