mark7714 Posted April 10, 2006 Share Posted April 10, 2006 So I'm sick of OS X (incorrectly) detecting my display and taking up about 5 seconds of my life every time I boot, and 10-15 whenever I return from sleep, as well as it detecting a second display that doesn't exist (see: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...60entry42460). This second display creates weird problems in Word (artifacts), so I have to detect display AGAIN, after the computer is booted, for it to detect only one display. So what I'd love to do is set my display some how (the way it is after the second "detect display"), so that boot is quicker, and wake up is useful. There are a lot of people on here working on video cards, so I was wondering if anyone's adventures they've seen anywhere that this could be done? Any info would be cool. Thanks.
