Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by "with the DVD" as well as how you installed this? Is this a torrented pre-hacked disk, or are you using boot-132, or what? What kexts are you using? What video card? How did you enable your card, efi string, kext, or kext edit?

Elaborate if you want some help. If I were to tell my mechanic that my car wouldn't start and expect him to tell me how to fix it, I doubt he'd be much help.

okay...here is more info

I installed using Kalyway's 10.5.2 DVD and made a GUID partition and i updated to 10.5.5, and did a full time machine backup, then i realized i didn't want GUID so i put the DVD back and used disk utility to partition using MBR, i then proceeded to restore by time machine using an iAtkos 10.5.1 DVD, because kalyway's doesn't work to restore with time machine. When i finished i had to follow the guide i posted above so the bootloader would boot. And that is when my trouble began. When i booted without the DVD it went to the blue screen with the cursor, and when i did use the DVD, it was PERFECT!...i had all my kexts installed in the time macine restore, i have NVInject 256MB, because i have an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 256MB. In addition, i also used Kabyl's kernel for sleep for SSE3.

Specs:

Pentium D 820 2.8GHz

3 GB 533 MHZ RAM

NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 256MB

500 GB Seagate SATA HD

if i'm still missing something, please let me know, i would rele like to solve this problem..

Thanks again,

justin
