Toadman Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 Ok, I`ve been trying for ages and searching forums to see if someone could help me on this one. I have an MSI Via K8T800 Mobo with via sata and i cant get it installed due to not recognizing ACPIDisplay.kext and not recognizing acpi platform. By deleting the extensions folder it will boot, but (of course) won`t recognize my SATA HD, and with the extensions folder and the propper kext it won`t boot. I`ve tryed "platform=x86PC" -v -x... with no changes (still tries to boot ACPI...). I`m getting desperate here, my brother succeded in booting it (really unstable) in a Barton SSE2 and I can`t get my Athlon 64 to boot and install... Any help would be great, if don't want to tell me, at least give me links, I'm almost giving up... Sincerely and thanks to all, sorry for my rusty english...
