Kevin Sherman Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 So I sucessfully (yeah!!) installed 10.4.5... it seems WAY better than the 10.4.1 i was running earlier this year. BUT (always one of those eh?) the scrolling rate is WAY slow. in XBench, it came up as a 1.98 out of 100... I am running the most recent build of the MacVidia driver... System specs What can I do to get this thing running better? EDIT:: Also, the OpenGL rendering portion of XBench reads back with around a 5... I know that OSX uses openGL to render the GUI, is this why it is so slow? Is there any way of improving this? I remember 10.4.1 being a TON faster in these two areas...
