JuzzMann
hey all, I just finished installing kalyway 10.5.2 and i upgraded to 10.5.5 The odd thing is, when i go to system profiler it only shows "Total # of Cores= 1"...shouldn't this be two....and then when i go to activity monitor, it DOES indeed show 2 seperate stats for each core...doesn't make sense to me. Just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem, and if there was any way to corect it in system preferences. Thanks in advance, Justin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144736-pentium-d/ Share on other sites

Thanks in advance, Justin It is my understanding that the Pentium series has 1 core which, with hyperthreading technology, has 2 threads. Not the same as 2 cores. However, from my point of view, what you are seeing is normal.
