Nick Smith
Hi people, I need help on using in OSx86 a USB modem: I've got a patched OS X 10.4.1 and I want to use a USB modem to connect to the internet... I could do it on Windows, but in Mac I cannot because it says I must connect the device to another USB port (I think USB 2) The problem is that on my PC I don't have USB 2 ports!!! I can use it with a USB 1 port in Win, not in Mac... Does this problem get fixed with 10.4.5 or 10.4.6? How can I fix it? Thank you very much Nick Smith Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14464-usb-modem/ Share on other sites
declan
Most usb modems don't work, unless your modem profider has released intel drivers, i ended up buying a modem with ethernet on it.
