(((BENJI))) Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Alright So Here Is My Problem I Install Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5 - iATKOS 5i On A WD 500 GB Hard Drive Now That I Remove Vista From My WD VelociRaptor 300 GB, I Would Like to Clone It To This Hard Drive Instead The Reason Why I Don't Want To Install Osx86 All Over Again Its Because Everything Its Working Perfectly! I Try Cloning It With Disk Utility - Super Duper - Norton Ghost Already But I Cant Boot It Doesn't Load Anything At All If Someone Could Help Me With This I Would Really Appreciate It!! Thanks In Advance =) Time Machine Blows. It really is not worth the hassle for a simple clone, or anything else for that matter. I do it all the time using Carbon Copy Cloner. Its mostly an rsync wrapper and works really well. To boot the cloned drive you will also need to install a boot loader. Thanks In Advance =) Just use diskutility this will clone partition, but then as already said you have to install bootloader, see which bootloader you have installed already you can see this at the first darwin boot screen eg. chameleon 1.0.11 etc. Then download the same bootloader and install from your already working leopard, changing instal location to your newly cloned disk.
