Ive installed 10.5.5 via the following method: 1) Kalway 10.5.2 2) Comboupdate to 10.5.3 3) Official update to 10.5.4 4) Prepare for comboupdate -> Comboupdate to 10.5.5 -> post combo update Everything works fine except for the resolution which is stuck at 1024x768 (no other resolutions). I do have a package with kexts, plugins and bundles called "GMA950 Extensions", containing: 1) AppleIntelGMA950.kext 2) AppleIntelGMA950GA.plugin 3) AppleIntelGMA950GLDriver.bundle 4) AppleIntelGMA950VADriver.bundle 5) AppleIntelIntegratedFrambuffer.kext Using kext helper b7 Ive installed the first one (AppleIntelGMA950.kext) and rebooted, but no additional resolutions appear. On an earlier try, I put them all (including the bundles and the plugin) in the kext helper b7 and pressed "Easy Install". Although kext helper did say it successfully installed the kexts etc., when rebooting, the screen went black just after loading mac os, and only a cursor (movable) would appear. So that was probably not the way to do this. Does anybody have a solution? Solution was to install both kexts in the list, not the other stuff (dont even know what bundles and plugins are for).
