french squared
cpu-x is a cool app but it doesnt monitor the temp I tried temp monitor but Im on a hackintosh. Temp monitor only tells me the temp of my harddrives not the CPU. iCF-74 ToughMac
Glad I read this .. TM is a nice way to monitor things... For general info, Temperature Monitor (which I ust downloaded) works if you have a Boot-132 Retail machine. Note: Now I just need to look for some sort of general baseline Mine are HDD 39, CPU Core-1 55, CPU Core-2 56 degrees C Joe Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144117-core-temp/#findComment-1024235 Share on other sites

Marius21
iStat tells you on a hackintosh only the HDD temp. Only on mac instalations with efi emulator it tells you other temps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144117-core-temp/#findComment-1025938 Share on other sites
dparada78
temp monitor works just fine on my hackintosh...hard drives and cpu. i did not use boot-132, i used ideneb. if u get a speech error change your default voice in sys prefs. make sure you have applecputhermo.kext installed too...should already be there.
