I was recently playing this port perfectly on my MBP 2.33 ghz 3g ram, I (think I) updated to 10.5.6, then all of a sudden I start up the game and it looks like this: http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/6145/picture1ee2.png Any idea what could be happening? I deleted prefs, it didn't help, so I started swapping config files from GTA 3 port (which works fine) and GTA Vice City port and they improved the glitch to just CJ and other people only being outlined as one solid color with all the other textures showing up fine. I tried all three configs that come with SA and they all don't make a difference. Also does anyone know where the "com.transgaming.cider" file is located on the HD. locoputo Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 com.transgaming.* is in your /users/whateveryourusernameis/library/preferences/ folder Try right lcicking, show package contents then go in contents/MacOS and double click the cider app. Paste the debug info you get here or attach as a text file. One thing I forgot to mention is that I am running it off my external HD, and it worked perfectly before off of my external HD... I have no sound issues despite the log... iRadio Posted January 1, 2009 Author Share Posted January 1, 2009 Yes I did, the funny thing is, if i connect my harddrive and run it off of my relative's iMac it works fine, no glitches, which leads me to believe its a file on my laptop that's corrupt/missing.. maybe com.transgaming.cider? Open info.plist look for: PrefsFolderName and CFBundleIdentifier the first one indicates the name of the folder the preferences are in in yourusername/library/preferences/ the second is the name of the com.transgaming. file. iRadio Posted January 1, 2009 Author Share Posted January 1, 2009 I think i might be off track with that... but what I did was look at GTA vice city and GTA san andreas config files in users/myname/prefs/ side by side and some differences where in these categories: "PixelShadersLevel" = "1.0" "VertexShadersLevel" = "2.0" the categories are 2.0 and 2.0 in vice city.
