abscheele
Hello, I was wondering if anybody could suggest the best way to get 10.5.6 running on an 80gb ide drive on a ds3p, I have tried both xxx 10.5.5(installed ppf's 1&2) and ipc 10.5.6(have not installed the ppf's) and I can not get my install to boot. If anybody could suggest the correct boxes to check in the installer dvd's or a reason why it is not working it would be greatly appreaciated. by the way would it work better on a sata hd? my dvd drive is sata if that helps Thanks, Alec Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144058-running-1056-on-ga-ep35-ds3p/ Share on other sites

Ianxxx
put it on a SATA, jmicron drivers can't handle >4GB of RAM atm Have to strongly agree, I don't even bother with installing jmicron anymore, just gave it up as a bad job, stick with sata Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144058-running-1056-on-ga-ep35-ds3p/#findComment-1037291 Share on other sites
