Hi dudes,

 

I use iPC latest version to install leopard on my pc, I choose Nvinject 0,2,1 512, leopard works great but If i change resolution, I've got the blue screen opf death and I can not go back to the desktop anymore, btw quartz is not available and i really would like the thing,

 

any ideas ? any kext ?

The 8800gt only really is supported in >= 10.5.3 or if you have the Leopard Graphics Update installed with 10.5.2. You may want to try a newer higher version and look at the EFI string method which requires no driver to get a fully working card.

Yep. But as in my thread - great success with 8500GT but need a DVI->VGA adapter with the monitor plugged in via VGA (into the adapter) to get resolution changes to work. Try iAtkos 5i, and install the EFI string via OSX86Tools. Don't use a kext. That's what I did and have a fully upgradable 8500GT system with no kexts and everything works. You might have success with your 8800GT with the same methodology.

 

BTW, if you get a blue or black screen, try suspending CMD-OPT-EJECT then resuming. That got my system back working to whatever resolution got switched to before I was pointed to the DVI->VGA thing.
