nesman
Specs are in my signature.. Tried installing iATKOS 5i with the 9.2 kernel as well as the 9.5 voodoo kernel, and both do not get past the apple boot screen. One shows up an error sign and the other just doesn't boot. I'm not too sure of what other drivers I'm supposed to select, and also which boot loader do I use? I'm also trying to get VISTA on my second partition. What should be the settings for the VISTA partition because I heard the MS-DOS won't be recognized with VISTA EDIT: I have had progress with the Kalyway 10.5.2 but I cannot change the resolution and the QE/CI won't work. french squared
format the vista partition MS-Dos then reformat it from Vista install Disk DO NOT NAME the partition or it Vista wont be able to reformat it. Have you tried not selecting a kernal? I have it runing on the same mobo 100% use: Main System - PC EFI V9 Bootloader - One of the Decrypters, I used apple for current install but both worked - SMBIOS Enabler - stock ACPI modified - disable ktext - remove power management - remove thermal - graphic update - efi for you card system - intel sata, set you bios to either others may disagree but mine is working triple boot - JMicron Network - R1000 Do Not Select any Kernel I also have a USB mouse and keyboard Make certain you erase the OSX partition everytime you try to install it sounds strange but trust me and just do it. Feel free to IM me ud3p, E8500, 8gb ram, 3 500 SATA HD, GeForce 8400 all working including sound to change the resolution you will need to use high def side of card and not VGA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/144034-iatkos-5i-not-booting-into-leopard/#findComment-1023008 Share on other sites
nesman
Thanks, but somehow by using EasyBCD with my Vista install, my Leopard install started working perfectly, with QE/CI enabled! Maybe the bootloader got corrupted but it's working fine now.
