Hi i need help on this little problem. I have Mac OSX 10.5.5 on my laptop (see specs) and now its running on a new 300GB hard disc. The problem i got is i have setup the partitioning system to GPT and made 7 Primary partitions in Mac.

This is how i'm trying to do it

1)Mac OSX

2)Vista

3)Windows XP Gamers Edition

4)Windows 2008 Standard

5)Storage

6)Mac OSX Retail Install DVD

now the EFI partition counts as the first primary partition so after i install XP i won't be able to install Windows 2008 Server or see the Storage partition. As it is now vista says i have 117GB free when in mac i have all the partitions made.

So if some one can help me out here!

Sorry for my english in advance!!

I don't know if there is a solution for your problem. Both the BIOS and Windows operating systems can only see 4 primary partitions:

(Much more available on the internet).

AFAIK, there is only one program that can deal with more than 4 primary partitions: BootIt™ Next Generation:

However I don't know if and how it can help you. They have free trials:

But i though GPT partition scheme which i'm using allowed in fact it has allowed 7 Primary partitions just that when i boot Vista it still only see's four primary partitions So its a plan B.

1)Mac OSX for Video Editing, Games via crossover.

2)Windows Vista for Video Editing Finishing, games etc.

3)Server 2008

*4)Storage looks to be the easy way! LOL
