kkelis Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 I've typed this post too many times and pressed ctrl+left and lost everything I wrote so I'm keeping it short! I've been trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on my nforce3 Athlon 3000+ 512mb ram laptop and after many tries and failures I managed to get to the end using an external dvd drive. I've installed the speedstepkernel with the SSE2 and AMD patches. Booting without any flags gets me to the white screen/apple logo, the spinning thing stops after a while and music starts playing; after the music a man starts talking about VoiceOver so I'm guessing it's an intro video, but I'm still stuck on the white screen/apple logo. Booting with -v, the last line is: CODE SIGNING: cs_invalid_page: p=38[configd] clearing CS_VALID Booting with -v -x (I can still hear the music etc) gets me to the same line. I've also tried using -F and -legacy with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated! //edit: just an update, i can't boot in single user mode, I get the single user mode instructions (mount -uw, type exit etc), then I get the firewire defaulting to full secure line, and it stops there; I can't input anything at any point. Also, the whole process sometimes hangs at the previous line from the one I said before (CODE SIGNING), the previous line is: dsmos: Starting...
