ok i want to install osx on my pc i can get all the way to select a destination but my hard drive won't show up just my flash drive and the cd what do i do :( it have spent a few day trying to do this but nothing

 

PC STATS:

256 mb of ram :(

ATA hard drive 80 gig :thumbsup_anim:

windows xp is on it (i don't need or want to dual boot ill use boot camp later i just want a erase and install) :thumbsup_anim:

intel celeron d :P

ssa2 ssa3 compatible :thumbsup_anim:

the format of the hard drive is ntfs is ntfs causing it?

 

PLEASE HELP because im out of ideas :)

it's not that simple

things don't just work if you try to put a Mac OS on a PC, you gotta work a little ...

you need to know your MAINBOARD's chipsets, and then select a distro/method accordingly

 

you provided no actual data about this ... so don't expect an actual answer...

 

we know a PC has a processor, a memory, a HDD, a Video card, but YOU gotta search those components by their specific names ...

my advice ... read first, post second. you are member no. 340,550, you'd think some of the previous 340,549 users actually had the same problem

 

p.s. no, formatting as ntfs has nothing to do with your problem
